AI Transparency

Transparency notice on the use of artificial intelligence pursuant to Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (AI Act), whose transparency obligations have applied since 2 August 2026, and in addition under the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG).

 

1. Why we disclose this

Mantor rings are made by hand. For the presentation, advertising and communication of our products, however — like many brands — we also use artificial intelligence tools. We consider it self-evident to disclose this: you should be able to judge at all times what you are looking at.

 

2. Where we use AI

a) Image and video content

Some of the image and video content used on this website, in our newsletters and in our advertising on platforms such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google, YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest has been created or edited wholly or partly using artificial intelligence systems. This applies in particular to:

• mood, lifestyle and background imagery
• depictions of people and hands wearing jewellery
• post-processing, cut-outs, retouching, and light and colour adjustment of product photography

Where such content depicts people, places or situations realistically and could therefore be mistakenly perceived as an authentic recording, we label it visibly — for example with the note “AI-generated” or “KI-generiert” on or immediately next to the content in question.

b) Text

Product descriptions, blog and guide articles, newsletters and advertising copy may be drafted with AI support. All published texts are reviewed by us for accuracy before publication and are our editorial responsibility. Editorial responsibility lies with Alexander Mantchev, Mantor Ltd.

c) Customer communication

Should we use automated assistants or chatbots, we will expressly state at the beginning of the relevant conversation that you are communicating with an AI system. On request we will connect you with a human at any time — simply write to us at contact@mantor.shop.

 

3. Where we do not use AI

• Production: Our rings are made by hand. No piece of jewellery is “made by an AI”.
• Material details: Information on precious metal, fineness, hallmarking, dimensions and weight is based exclusively on real product data and is never AI-generated.
• Customer reviews: We publish only genuine reviews from genuine customers. Reviews are neither AI-generated nor AI-invented, nor rewritten in a way that alters their meaning.
• Prices, availability and delivery times: This information is based on our real shop and production data.
• Legal texts: The legal texts published on this website are reviewed by us and are our responsibility.

4. What this means for your purchase decision

AI-assisted imagery serves solely for staging and atmosphere. It is not intended to suggest product characteristics that our products do not have.

The characteristics of the goods you order are determined solely by the information in the respective product description (material, fineness, dimensions, width, weight, finish) and by our Terms of Service. Variations in colour, shine and proportion caused by display — including screen calibration and lighting conditions — are possible.

Should an image differ from the goods delivered in a way that goes beyond such display-related differences, your right of withdrawal and your statutory warranty rights of course apply in full.

 

5. Machine-readable marking

The providers of generative AI systems we use increasingly mark generated content with machine-readable markers (e.g. watermarks or C2PA metadata). We endeavour to preserve these markers during further processing. For technical reasons, such metadata may be lost when processed by advertising and social media platforms; we have no influence over this.
