Terms of Service of Mantor Ltd. (EOOD) for contracts concluded via the online shop www.mantor.shop. Version: September 2026.
§ 1 Scope, provider, definitions
(1) These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all contracts you conclude with us, Mantor Ltd. (EOOD), 225A Tsar Boris III Blvd., of. 6, BG-1618 Sofia, Bulgaria, represented by Alexander Mantchev (“Mantor”, “we” or “us”), through our online shop.
(2) The version of these Terms valid at the time of your order applies. Deviating, conflicting or supplementary terms of the customer do not become part of the contract unless we expressly agree to their validity in text form.
(3) A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (Section 13 German Civil Code, BGB). An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their trade, business or profession (Section 14 BGB).
(4) Our offer is directed at consumers and entrepreneurs, but exclusively at persons who have reached the age of 18.
§ 2 Conclusion of contract
(1) The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but a non-binding invitation to place an order (invitatio ad offerendum).
(2) By clicking the “Buy now” or “Order with obligation to pay” button, you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract for the goods in your shopping cart. Before submitting your order, you can change your entries at any time using the usual keyboard and mouse functions and the correction tools provided during the order process, or cancel the order.
(3) After we receive your order, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement of receipt by email. This acknowledgement does not yet constitute acceptance of your offer.
(4) The purchase contract is concluded as soon as we accept your order through a separate order confirmation by email, but at the latest upon dispatch notification or handover of the goods. If no acceptance takes place within five business days, your offer is deemed rejected; any payments already made will be refunded without delay.
(5) Storage of the contract text: We store the contract text and send you the order details together with these Terms in text form. If you have created a customer account, you can view your previous orders there.
(6) The contract language is English. If the order process was carried out in another language, that language is the contract language.
§ 3 Made-to-order production and ring size
(1) All Mantor rings are handcrafted only after payment has been received (“made to order”). Production usually takes 2 to 3 weeks plus shipping time.
(2) Our rings are produced in the standard sizes offered in the shop (EU sizes 54–72, inner circumference in millimetres). Selecting a standard size does not constitute production to customer specification; your statutory right of withdrawal therefore remains fully intact (see § 8).
(3) Please consult our ring size guide before ordering. Because of the wide bands of our models, we recommend following the instructions there closely.
(4) Rings with an individual engraving or an individual monogram are goods made to customer specification or clearly tailored to personal requirements. We inform you separately and clearly about the resulting exclusion of the right of withdrawal before you submit your order.
(5) Subsequent resizing is offered — where technically possible — as a chargeable service. We will inform you of the conditions in advance upon request. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
§ 4 Prices and shipping costs
(1) All prices stated are final prices in euros (EUR) and include the applicable statutory value added tax. For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, additional customs duties, import taxes and fees may apply (see § 6 (5)).
(2) Any shipping costs are not included in the product price. They are shown separately during the order process before you submit your order and are payable in addition. Where we offer free shipping, this is expressly indicated in the shop.
(3) The total amount shown during the order process is decisive.
§ 5 Payment and due date
(1) The payment methods displayed during the order process are available to you. For an overview, see Payment.
(2) The purchase price is due for payment immediately upon conclusion of the contract. As the goods are made to order, production begins only after payment has been received in full.
(3) In the event of late payment, we are entitled to charge default interest at the statutory rate. We reserve the right to claim further damages caused by default.
(4) You may only offset against claims that are undisputed or have been legally established. You are only entitled to a right of retention insofar as it is based on the same contractual relationship. Your rights under Section 320 BGB remain unaffected.
§ 6 Delivery, delivery times, transfer of risk
(1) We deliver to the countries selectable at checkout. For details on delivery times and shipping partners, see Shipping.
(2) Stated delivery times are non-binding approximate figures unless a binding delivery date has been expressly agreed. They start upon receipt of full payment and include the production time under § 3 (1).
(3) If we are prevented from delivering for reasons beyond our control (e.g. force majeure, supply shortages of precious metals, official measures), we will inform you without delay and state the expected new delivery date. If delivery becomes permanently impossible, both parties are entitled to withdraw from the contract; any consideration already provided will be refunded without delay.
(4) For consumers, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the goods passes only upon handover of the goods to the consumer, including in the case of mail-order purchase. For entrepreneurs, the risk passes upon handover to the carrier.
(5) For deliveries to countries outside the EU (e.g. Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Turkey, the USA), customs duties, import charges, taxes and clearance fees may apply. These are not included in the purchase price and are payable by you as the recipient.
§ 7 Retention of title
The delivered goods remain our property until payment has been made in full.
§ 8 Right of withdrawal for consumers
(1) Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. Details are set out in our Right of Withdrawal notice, which also contains the model withdrawal form.
(2) Pursuant to Section 312g (2) no. 1 BGB, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal requirements. This applies exclusively to rings with an individual engraving or an individual monogram. Merely selecting a standard ring size or a standard material variant offered by us does not exclude the right of withdrawal.
(3) You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For details on the process, see Returns.
§ 9 Liability for defects (warranty)
(1) The statutory provisions on liability for defects apply. For consumers, the limitation period for claims based on defects is two years from delivery of the goods.
(2) If a defect becomes apparent within one year of delivery, it is presumed that the goods were already defective upon delivery (Section 477 BGB).
(3) For entrepreneurs, the limitation period for claims based on defects is one year from delivery; the statutory duties of inspection and notification under Section 377 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) remain unaffected.
(4) Not defects are characteristics typical of handcrafted jewellery: minor variations in surface, structure, polish, colour tone and dimensions within the tolerances of craftsmanship, as well as natural signs of wear, patina and tarnishing of silver. Likewise not defects are damage caused by improper handling, mechanical impact, contact with chemicals, cosmetics or chlorinated water, and unauthorised modifications to the goods.
(5) We assume a guarantee in the legal sense only where such a guarantee has been expressly given in text form and designated as a “guarantee”. Statutory rights are not restricted by a guarantee.
(6) In the case of justified notices of defect, we bear the cost of return shipping.
§ 10 Liability
(1) We are liable without limitation for damage arising from injury to life, body or health, in cases of intent and gross negligence, in the event of fraudulent concealment of a defect, within the scope of a guarantee assumed, and under the German Product Liability Act.
(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Material contractual obligations are those whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely.
(3) Otherwise our liability is excluded.
(4) The above limitations of liability also apply in favour of our legal representatives and vicarious agents.
(5) We do not warrant that our online offering will be available without interruption or free of errors at all times.
§ 11 Materials, hallmarking and presentation
(1) Our jewellery is made from the materials stated on the respective product page (including 925 sterling silver, 14K and 18K gold). The fineness details comply with statutory requirements; hallmarks are applied as part of the production process.
(2) Product images serve illustrative purposes. Colour and size representations may vary depending on your device, screen calibration and lighting conditions. Regarding the use of AI-assisted image content, please see our AI Transparency notice.
§ 12 Vouchers, discounts and referral programme
(1) Promotional vouchers are redeemable only within the stated period and only once, cannot be combined with other promotions, are non-transferable and cannot be paid out in cash. Offsetting against orders already completed is excluded.
(2) Participation in any referral programme is governed by the separate terms of participation published in the shop. A claim to payment of a referral bonus arises only once the referred order has been paid in full and the withdrawal period has expired.
§ 13 Dispute resolution
The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform was shut down on 20 July 2025. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
§ 14 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
(1) All legal relationships between you and us are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
(2) For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence (Article 6 (2) Rome I Regulation).
(3) For consumers, the statutory places of jurisdiction apply. If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contractual relationship is our registered
office.
§ 15 Final provisions
(1) Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The statutory provisions replace the invalid provision.
(2) Changes to these Terms will be communicated to you in text form. For contracts already concluded, the version valid at the time of conclusion always applies.
